Hill Mile is a day of celebration and community!
Hill Mile is an annual community event that brings together the entire Hill community for a one-mile fun run/walk, kids’ dash, food trucks, and plenty of fun activities for all ages.
Hill Mile is a free and inclusive community event.
In addition, throughout the month of April we present a complementary fundraising campaign, Chasing a Dream, to benefit Student Financial Aid. Chasing a Dream runs throughout the month of April and engages our entire community, whether in the Triangle or beyond.
At Hill Mile, we will celebrate the success of the Chasing a Dream campaign and the role philanthropy plays in expanding access to our school programs.

Why Hill Mile and Chasing a Dream?
Every year, the financial need of enrolled and prospective families increases. With the help of philanthropic support from individual donors and community partners like you, we have risen to the challenge. If we are to continue to meet the needs of families, we must dream big. We are chasing a dream that all children with learning differences and attention challenges can access Hill’s research-based teaching methods, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. As a month-long campaign, Chasing a Dream will extend our reach while maintaining Hill Mile as an inclusive and much-anticipated community event. At Hill Mile, we will celebrate the success of the Chasing a Dream campaign and the role philanthropy plays in expanding access to our school programs.
