Upper School
Hill’s Upper School offers instruction in English, Academic Writing, Spanish, and Mathematics (general math through AP Calculus AB) for students in grades 9-12 in a 4:1 student-faculty ratio.
Students receive daily instruction in up to three classes, earning credits toward NC state graduation requirements. Instruction is highly individualized with flexible pacing to help students thrive and find success in high-school level courses. Peer advisories, tutorials, post-secondary planning, community service projects, and a student council, enhance the Upper School experience and provide opportunities to engage further with peers and learn valuable skills outside of the classroom.

College Matriculation and Postsecondary Planning
Hill graduates go on to do a variety of things after they leave Hill. In the last five years Hill graduates have pursued a post-secondary education at many different colleges and universities, while others have pursued careers, vocational/technical school, or the Armed Forces.
